We will be joining a group of women from our church, Cornerstone Community, to lead creative teaching workshops to new teachers in a brand new school that will be opening Fall 2009. While there we will also be working with the women and children in one of the poorest regions of this country. This will also include painting and fixing up the classroom they will be holding school. For our entire family to serve it will cost $6000 (which will cover travel, food, and hotel fees. It will also help pay for supplies, the guide, and the interpreter during our visit.)

Below are the events we will be hosting. We are hoping to raise between $500 - $1500 per event:

Rosé and Cheese Party On The Hopler Porch June 26th at 7:00 pm – This event will be a lot of fun and is limited to 25 adults.

Dominican Dinner at the Hopler House July 10th at 7:00 pm – This will be prepared by our Dominican pastor’s wife Elen! This event will give you a wonderful taste of the culture as well as opportunity talk to Pastor Esdras and Elen during the evening. This event is limited to 25 adults.

Wine and Cheese Party On The Hopler Porch July 17th at 7:00 pm - This event will be a lot of fun and is limited to 25 adults.

Kids / Young Adult Outdoor Movie on the Hopler Porch July 24th at 8:00 pm – Caleb and Levi will pick a movie. Popcorn and drinks will be provided.

Car Wash at the Hopler House July 25th – Sign up for the hour in which you would like to come so we can give your car special attention.
