SPIRITUAL FORMATION DIRECTOR
I have been hired part time by Bluefield College to be the Spiritual Formation Director.
My goal will be simple: to walk alongside students, helping them think in both long-term as well as in the hear-and-now, and in being holistic in his or her approach to life. God created each of us with deep purpose and meaning, it is important that we are intentional about living according to our created intent.
Between weekly convocations, spiritual formation groups, opportunities to be salt and light through justice and compassion ministries, retreats and walking with students one-on-one: I get to be assisting this next generation in their journey with Jesus!
Can I give a confession? I can’t believe that I get to be paid to do this! To create an environment where the future generation can better discover their God created intent. That is pure fun to me. That is joy to me. So please keep this a secret, because surely a job is not supposed to be this much fun!
